"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6) Isaiah 9:6 is an often quoted verse around Christmastime. But have you ever stopped to look into what it means?
I had never seriously done any in-depth study on this verse until recently. What it reveals about our Lord Jesus Christ is nothing short of amazing!
